Trading Competition

Georgetown Quant Club hosted its inaugural Trading Competition on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:00AM – 5:00PM at Georgetown University's Copley Formal Lounge.
We received an incredibly strong applicant pool and were excited to bring together some of the brightest students from across the country who are passionate about trading and quantitative finance.
Participants represented universities including Harvard University, Yale University, Columbia University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Michigan, Rice University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Georgia Institute of Technology, among others.
The competition was a fast-paced trading simulation designed to test analytical thinking, market intuition, risk management, and decision-making under pressure.
$1,250+ in cash prizes were awarded.
